                This quote is saying how if you do not believe in anything or have any values for your self then you will easily give into peer pressure and get your self on the wrong path. You have to set some boundaries for yourself or you won’t get anywhere you have to believe in something. Say for instance you do not have a religion if someone comes up to you and tries to persuade you into it, you could be more easily manipulated because you don’t already stand for a religion that you believe in. Also say you are just starting high school and you are finding new friends. If all your friends go to parties and drink and do other things like that if you have no boundaries for yourself you can get to caught up in that stuff and lose yourself in it. You cant just live your life with no beliefs because it will get you no where if you don’t believe in anything you will not have any motivation and you will most likely not do very well in school because you don’t have any motivation to do it. People that have strong beliefs and strong values will do better in life because there are more driven to get goals and accomplishments done. Everyone has their own set of values. As long as you have some kind of values and beliefs it is better then not having any.

I thought this was a good quote to do with graduation coming up in 8 days! Only you can decide what you are going to do with your life and if you are going to be successful or not. After high school is when the real world starts you are going to have to make your own decisions without your parents guidance. Also you are going to have to start college which is helping you study for the career you are going to do for the rest of your life. People can try and help you succeed but in the end the decision is up to you. So make sure that you make wise ones that will help you out in later years. Make sure that you don’t start hanging around with the wrong kind of people and make sure that you focus on yourself because hanging out with those kind of people is only hurting yourself. After high school is a lot of responsibility that you have to take on so make sure that you are ready to do it and make sure that you do not make any stupid decision that will effect you for the rest of your life. That is why I like this quote because it is so true.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”

this quote is a great quote to live by because it is telling you not to concentrate on what you have done in the past on not to worry about what you are going to do in the future just concentrate on what you are doing in the present and that will help you do well in the future. If you are always thinking about the past and what you have done then you have no time to concentrate on what is going on right now and that will end up affecting your future. You just have to take everyday one at a time and concentrate on what you are doing now. Also if you are always worried about what is going to happen in the future then once again you are not concentrating on what is happening in the present and you will become unfocused and nothing good will happen from that. If you just focus on what is happening in front of you right now and do the best that you can at the school work or jobs that you need to do it will help you succeed later on in life. You will get a lot farther in life if you just concentrate on what you are doing now and not dwelling on what you have done. If you follow this quote you will go farther in life.
